Kessler Guiding | Ennis, MT

    I was born in Ogden, Utah and raised between there and Billings, Montana. I am an outdoor and fly fishing addict. I moved to Ennis around 2001 for work as an engineer for a cable television company and immediately started fishing the Madison river every spare minute I had. A couple of years later, an outfitter in Ennis asked me to guide for him. I fell in love with the people and the sport. I have not looked back after 20 years of guiding. After spending four winters in Montana, I decided I needed a change. So I packed a bag and drove to warmer weather in Key West, Florida for the winter. I fished from a canoe my first season, and then bought a boat and put in another three years of learning the waters in the lower Keys. I then got my Captain’s license and began running guided trips down south.  After 16 years of being in the Keys for the winter, and Montana in the summer, I wouldn't change a thing!
